Since this Monday, Karate and Kendo club started midwinter exercises. It starts at 6:00 AM and finish at 7:00 AM. The midwinter exercises continue during all of this week (2/2-2/8). Today is 2/4, so half of the midwinter exercises are gone!! I want the midwinter exercises to finish as soon as possible. Because I really sleepy everyday in this week!
I am commute student from Connecticut. The exercise starts 6:00 AM, so I have to awake at 5:00 AM everyday in this week without Sat. and Sun. When I got up, I get out of my room and go down stairs. Then I eat breakfast. After that, I get ready for going to the school. Then my parents (my mother or father) send me to the school. Usually I arrive at the school at 5:45-50 AM. The members of Karate club usually assemble at 5:50. So, I usually run to gym and change the clothes into the uniform of Karate.
After all members together, at first we stand in a row and do meditation. Next we do warming up exercises. We usually do it about 10 – 15 minutes. Then we start the practice of basic Karate skills. These skills use for attacking. Also, we practice defense skills. The practice is that we use the defense skills and move forward and backward. When finished the practice, we have some rests. Then after that, we practice Karate kata. But, we can practice that only once because the midwinter exercise has only one hour. We don’t have enough time to do it more than once. When we finished the practice, we stand in a row like first we did.
Now, last Sat., midwinter exercise was over!! On Sunday, Karate and Kendo club had the close of a run of the midwinter exercise. However, I had hives. So, I couldn’t go to.
This is the first time I join the exercise completely because I am commute student. In last year, I couldn’t go to the exercise because of snow. Therefore, I glad that I could go to the exercises completely.
