Final Blog at KEIO NY

I forgot upload blogs so I am going to upload three blog in this week.

On last week, 4/20-4/24, all 12th grade students went to Florida Walt Disney World. (Exception, some of students couldn’t go to Florida.) On 4/20, we had to come to cafeteria at 4:45 AM. I and my roommate woke up at 3:30 AM and prepared completely. Then I went to cafeteria. When all students came to café, we separate into our own groups and teachers took together our passport. After that, we went to back of the café, and we rode on the bus. Then some of the students who couldn’t go to Florida because of their sports game came to see us off. Then after that, we went to New Ark, NY airport, by the bus. We had to ride the bus about 1 hour. In addition, after arrived the airport and checked in, we had to wait about 1-2 hours for boarding.
After we boarded, we had about 3 hours flight. However, the flight was delayed so we arrived to Florida delayed. And also we went to the hotel delay. After we check in the hotel, we put our baggage in some rooms of the hotel. Then we had free time. So I and my friends went to Disney. This was the beginning of the first day of Florida Trip.
The first day we went to Disney Hollywood Studio. There was many people, but not as many as peak time. First we went to ride Tower of Terror. It doesn’t kind of the roller coaster. It just falls vertically from higher place. But it falls several times. I felt float. After we ride the Tower of Terror, we went to a restaurant. At first we think we eat some food for lunch, but when we saw the menu, the food prices were already become dinner prices. I was shocked. I ate grilled chicken pizza. It was so taste. Next we went to watch some shows such as Indiana Jones and stunt show. Both shows were so funny and fantastic. Then we had to go back to the hotel.
The second day, I and some of my friends went to blizzard beach and magic kingdom. First, we went to magic kingdom. Then we tried to ride on Space Mountain, but it is under repair until winter 2009. So we rode on a ride that is kind of shooting game. My friends got about 50000~200000 points. I got 760000 points. Lol. Also, we rode on Splash Mountain and other roller coasters. In the afternoon, we went to Blizzard beach. There has much kind of pools. Especially, there is a very high water slider. We tried to do it. It was so fast to fall down. I was watching under when I fall down so I hit much water on my face. It was so hurt. Also, my hips and thigh was become so painful.
We also play slider that some people ride on a rubber ring. It is not fast as the water slider but it was so funny. At 2:00 PM, may be, we had to go to Epcot because all students had to gather at there and eat dinner. So, we left the Blizzard beach and went to Epcot by using monorail. It was good for ride. There’s scenery was really good. When we arrived at Epcot, we have some more time to get together. Therefore, we decided to make round the Epcot. The section that we had to gather was France. We went to other section (countries) for killing the time. We saw some sections such as Britain, Germany, and Japan. Then we found a store that is popular in Japan. So, we went into the store. There were so many Japanese goods for example, Japanese Kimono, geta, samurai sword, etc. Also, there were selling Japanese snacks and foods. But these foods are very expensive if these prices compare to the prices in Japanese store in Japan. I found funny T- shirts. There are printed some Japanese words such as shinobi, love, dream, No.1, etc. I wanted to buy some these T-shirts, but I didn’t have enough money to buy these T-shirts. After we leave the store, we went to France section. And we ate dinner outside. During the dinner, may be at 8 or 9:00 PM, we watched a show (fireworks). After the end of the show, we went back to the hotel.
The third day, at the morning, all students went to Animal Kingdom and we ate breakfast in there. After that, Keio students could ride a roller coaster priority. I rode the coaster two times. Because of it, I got headache. I swore myself to do not ride continuity that kind of coaster. Next, we rode a kind of water ride. Because of the ride, I and my friends got wet. We also rode a tour bus that can watch many animals. We went to Epcot after we rounded some attractions in the Animal Kingdom. We arrived to Epcot, at first, we rode fast truck. That was very fast car ride. It is presented by General Mortars. Also, we rode, I forgot name of the ride the space mission (may be like that name). We chose hard one. Now, I regretted my decision after the ride. We experienced two G. It was so strange sense. After some more riding, we went to a hotel that we eat dinner at there. In there, we met some characters. Other members went to Hollywood studio but I went back to hotel and slept.
The fourth day, this day we went to universal studio. Students chose a ticket which is studio (ride, shows, etc) area or attraction (roller coaster, etc) area. I and some of my friends chose studio ticket. At first, we rode a ride that uses pictures of mummy’s movie. And it was kind like roller coaster. Next, we rode also a ride. It makes we can experience about disaster such as earth quake. However, it was not so dreadful. We enjoyed some more rides and attractions. At (may be) 5:00 PM, we went back to hotel.
The last day, most students went to downtown Disney. I also went to there. Afternoon, we went to the airport and at night we went back to the dormitory.

F's Blog DREI

The Midterm exam was over!! The most of the tests were given back to students. I have all of my class tests, except economy, and saw the score of them. I had no “F” score tests. Kokugo (koten) is almost F, it is 60…orz. However, my other tests are not so bad. Genkoku is 74 that is average of the class. Math is 143 that also average of the class. Japanese history and Japanese civics was good score. Also economy test was so good. English is…. You know, I got 76. Is it on average? I forgot. So, may be I will get C on my English grade. Geee……

About 20 days left….for SPRING BREAK!!! YEAH!! After 20days, we will go to Florida!! Yesterday, my mother sent e mail to me and ordered to buy souvenir (Disney character’s cover for car antenna). Last Saturday, I went to my father’s house because I need to have passport and some money for the Florida trip. Before I go to father’s house, I went to Mitsuwa and I bought some books. Also, I ate Tenpura don. It was really good taste.

On next Monday, economy class students will go field trip.

Tomorrow, 4/08/09 Wednesday, report card will come! I think my grades are not good. May be my GPA become under 3.00. I hope my GPA will become least over 3.00 or 2.90 because my mother will become angry when I have GPA under 3.00 or 2.90. Therefore, I really want to get GPA over 3.00.

Nowadays, I have continued to read a novel MUSHI-UTA. It is a series of Japanese teen’s novel. The main characters can use special powers that are called mushi (It means bug) because its abilities are look like bugs. However, these powers spend user’s dream (If they lost, eaten by the bugs, all of their dream, they will die. Also if they lost their bugs, they will become lack people who lost senses and feelings). This novel is the story about these bug users and their fight for survive. Also I read Red Rose that is also Japanese teen’s novel. It is kind of fantasy because the characters use some magic and special abilities. This novel is similar to online games. However, some scenes are tragic or grotesque. Therefore, this novel chose its readers I think.

Nowadays, English class, we are doing poem. However, it is so difficult for me!! It is difficult for me to understand connotation meaning in the poem. And it is difficult to make rhymes and other effect in the poem. In addition, English of the questions on the work sheet is difficult. I NEED HELP!!!!! So, I plan to go to ask some question to teacher. So, I had to ask when I can go to ask about poems.
Now Kokugo is difficult for me as much as poems in English class. In addition, we have to make report about Mai Hime that is Japanese famous literature and do presentation about it. So, till next weekend I have to do a lot of things!!

F's Blog (draft)

I got Kalafina’s new song “Seventh Heaven”. I like her song. Her songs used in the movie “kara no kyoukai”. I like this movie. It is a one cause that I like her songs. And the songs make me feel something strong in my mind. Therefore, I like her songs and listen many times.

Since March 24th, the third term exam will begin. I really worry about Kokugo, Math, and English. Kokugo has many things that I have to study for the exam text. In addition, these things are tanka that is a Japanese poem of thirty one syllables. I am really difficult to understand kind of these things. I am not good at feel or think about these kinds of poems and the writer’s thinking and feeling in the poem. So, I think I should study Kokugo harder and harder in this time. Also Math is a little bit difficult for me. However, it can be solved when I study more. So, I don’t worry about it than Kokugo. Now I want to get B range grade in this term English. I think I got not bad grade on the quizzes. So, I think if I get B range score on the exam, I can get B range grade. But… is it possible? I hope so. Therefore, I study English as much as studying Kokugo.

I and other Karate club members did kumite on yesterday, March 9th. I usually try to do counter attack. However, it is really difficult. I thought I need to do more practices like kumite.

F's Blog from dormitory ZWEI

On this Friday, we have kanji test at first period. I do not study yet. I plan to study kanji today. Usually I study kanji one day before the test. However, this time I try to start studying kanji from today because I feel uneasy that I do not know I can study well at the dormitory. I do not know I can study in different environment from before. Therefore, I try to study kanji today and tomorrow. I think it is enough to get over 90% of the test.

I was really depressed because of my computer. My computer is so useless. When I open two or three internet web browsers, the internet web browsers always shut down. Therefore I can not see the web sites plural. It means I can not read web novels smoothly. It is very painful for my mind. Reading the novels is my kind of tranquilizer!! It is my favorite hobby! So I will go to computer help desk and ask about how to fix the problems. If it was not fixed, I will try to ask to my father about allow to buy new computer.

Economy project finished!!! Our group finished the preparation of economy project. We finished to write the report and to make posters. So we only do presentation.

This week, I have much homework. I have to finish English vocab. Sheet and a worksheet. Also, I have to prepare Japanese civics’ presentation. Finally, I have to study for economy quiz and write a Japanese History report. Therefore, this week is I really busy. In addition, I have to start study for the exam because next week is a one week before the exam. (Since next Tuesday). So, I am busy until finishing the exam week I think.

The dormitory life is fun. However, nowadays, I have some trouble. It is I can not have deep sleep. I usually sleep at PM11:00 ~ AM0:00 and I awake at AM 4:30 or AM5:00 at least once. I can sleep again then, but it makes me sleepy during the classes. So, I want to fix this problem. What do you do before you sleep? Do you know any way to have a deep sleep? If you know, please tell me that ways.

Now I talk about Karate. Last time I learned new Karate kata. It is cool one. In the Kata, part of the movement, it has to jump. However, the jumping is very difficult. It is not just jump (means normally jump). So it is difficult. Now I almost can do it. So, I think I have to practice the kata more harder and harder.

F's Blog from dormitory

Nowaday, I usually read some novels on internet. It is written by common people. Some of it doesn’t make much fun, but some others make me fun. Some of these novels are original that written by the author. However, most of the novels, usually I read, use public novels’ story and rebuild the story originally. Or some of them mix the different public novels story. Some authors use really good writing and expression. I always read them when I have a time to access to the internet.

However, yesterday, I tried to go to some of the novels internet pages and then the page was access controlled! So, I couldn’t read the novels!!! I tried to read the novels at library’s computer. I was shocked because it means I can not read the internet page novels in the school and the dormitory. I don’t yet try to access that page from the dormitory, but school computer and dormitory’s internet circuit is controlled by school server, I think. Therefore, I want the access control to be fixed.

I like to read the novels that are kind of actions, fantasy, and occult. Especially, I like the setting has magic things or any kind of them. For example, Kara no kyoukai is the story about a person with supernatural powers vs. magi and other person with supernatural powers. Also, I like novels that the main character has unusual characteristics such as Kara no kyoukai and wizard’s night. Sometimes, I have ever read, the novel’s main character is a bloodthirsty killer or a homicidal maniac. It is sometimes crazy but sometimes funny.

Now I research about the U.S. for the economy class project. However, it is very difficult to write essay and to research about the information that I need to write essay. Most of information is on the CIA World fact book. But some questions of the project guidance were I had to do by myself. And the answers for some of them have to be calculated. It is really troublesome! In addition, we have to make posters for presentation and have to finish the project (essay for report) until next week. We don’t know specific date to finish the project. But we expect the project due is a day during the next week. So, I and other member of the project work to finish the project as well as we can.

I entered dormitory! There is very fun. I play some games (chess, shogi, etc) with my roommate and my friends. I am not yet get acclimate this dormitory life. However, I hope for I have good time in here. Next day is the first day that I go to school from the dormitory. I feel some uneasy. But I also feel some pleasantness.

Untitled?

On next weekend, 2/22/09, we karate club members have an examination of karate. We have the examination only two times during a year. So, I want to be promoted my rank smoothly. The members have to show their karate kata and ruled kumite. The kumite is a kind of practice of basic skills. Yesterday, we had practice and focused kata practice. We did the practice like as same as the examination. When a person is doing kata, other members watch the kata and after the person finished kata, the members who watched the person’s kata give advice to the person. My kata has not many points that should solve. However, some points were found that I must solve before the examination. These my week points are when I do fast movement, it usually become carelessly and also my footwork when I do kick. I think I must fix these points before the examination, but we have only one more time for practice. Therefore, I worry about my kata and the examination.

Nowaday, I like to read Zaregoto series. Its series are written by Nishio Ishin. Zaregoto in English means kind of joke, but the stories are not kind of jokes. These books are kind of suspense or mystery I think. In the story, many interesting characters are in there. Such as a person with a bankrupt character (Main character is kind of this), a bloodthirsty killer, and a person who withdrawal but she is genius in information science, etc. The story main character, he is called E chan (no proper noun), is always involved in the incidents. The story is usually not really happy ending. However, I think not bad ending. It is difficult to explain. So, you should try to read the Zaregoto series! It is very interesting book! (But these books select readers).

Since this Sunday, I will live in the dormitory. Only six or five days left!! I feel uneasy to the life in dormitory. In addition, there is the internet can not used at 12 o’clock. However, I usually use the internet for reading some novels until 2 o’clock. So, I feel unsatisfied about it. Also, there is not much space in the room so I can bring only a few books. If I can, I want to bring more books that I have. I really like to read novels. However, I also interested in the life of the dormitory. Therefore, I try to live in there for practice of the living when I go to the Keio University.

Today in English class, all class students watched Shrek the third. It was really funny. Many jokes make us fun! I watched Shrek and Shrek 2 so I really felt funny. The movie sometimes used actions that used in other movies. The story was happy ending, like common fairy tale story. Just the different is that human prince (Charming) died and ogre becomes happy. But it is interesting because it is different from common fairy tale story.

F's daily blog

Now I am a member of Karate club because I liked and wanted to do the martial arts. I want to do more other martial arts such as aikido, kendo, archery, etc. Therefore, I plan to join the martial arts clubs in the Keio University. However, I have some problems to do it.

The Keio University has many clubs and associations. The martial arts clubs are not so many, but popular martial arts clubs in there. I plan to join these clubs, especially archery club. The Keio University has three archery clubs. One is a club that can join only the medical students. One another are a club that is located on Hiyoshi. And last one is an association that its members practice at sports center (May be nearby Mita). I want to go to SFC. Therefore, I want to join the archery club on Hiyoshi because it is closer than other two clubs.

Last week end, three consecutive holidays, my family except me went to Boston city. I just stay at home. Why? Because I don’t interested about go to Boston. Then I stayed at home and did homework (such as to read English book, to finish up worksheet, etc). And I play TV (PC) games. Nowaday, I usually play Melty Blood that is a pc game I introduced in blog. I really like that game, especially characters and their skills & actions. Always I use Shiki Nanaya which is my favorite character. Nanaya uses very tricky actions and skills. And also can use very fast moving skills and actions. Therefore I like to use Nanaya. I enjoyed this weekend!

Today, 2/17, math test was given back to us. The math test’s average was 72. My score was 86. AMAZING!! Before the test came back, I think I will get F rank score on the test. So, when I saw the score, I really was happy and surprised about the test. Then I hope my economics’ test will be good grade. The economics’ test was not yet given back to us. Therefore, I feel some uneasiness.

In addition, I have a group work project in the economy class. The project is that we have to research and compare three countries (Japan, the U.S., and another country). Our group has to research and compare about Japan, the U.S., and Taiwan. However, we have to research too many things about these countries such as these countries’ population, geography, interest rate, etc. It is very hard, I think. So, I don’t like this project…

From March 1st 2009, I will live in the dormitory because my family, except my father, return to Japan because my younger sister takes a test to admit to Japanese high school. My father will go to a distant post unaccompanied by us. So, I sometimes think about the living of dormitory.

I will enter B1 dormitory. Konto will become my roommate. I don’t yet greet him about the entry. Therefore, I plan to greet to him about one week before the entry.

The midwinter exercise

Since this Monday, Karate and Kendo club started midwinter exercises. It starts at 6:00 AM and finish at 7:00 AM. The midwinter exercises continue during all of this week (2/2-2/8). Today is 2/4, so half of the midwinter exercises are gone!! I want the midwinter exercises to finish as soon as possible. Because I really sleepy everyday in this week!

I am commute student from Connecticut. The exercise starts 6:00 AM, so I have to awake at 5:00 AM everyday in this week without Sat. and Sun. When I got up, I get out of my room and go down stairs. Then I eat breakfast. After that, I get ready for going to the school. Then my parents (my mother or father) send me to the school. Usually I arrive at the school at 5:45-50 AM. The members of Karate club usually assemble at 5:50. So, I usually run to gym and change the clothes into the uniform of Karate.

After all members together, at first we stand in a row and do meditation. Next we do warming up exercises. We usually do it about 10 – 15 minutes. Then we start the practice of basic Karate skills. These skills use for attacking. Also, we practice defense skills. The practice is that we use the defense skills and move forward and backward. When finished the practice, we have some rests. Then after that, we practice Karate kata. But, we can practice that only once because the midwinter exercise has only one hour. We don’t have enough time to do it more than once. When we finished the practice, we stand in a row like first we did.

Now, last Sat., midwinter exercise was over!! On Sunday, Karate and Kendo club had the close of a run of the midwinter exercise. However, I had hives. So, I couldn’t go to.

This is the first time I join the exercise completely because I am commute student. In last year, I couldn’t go to the exercise because of snow. Therefore, I glad that I could go to the exercises completely.

exam over!!

Exam over! Kokugo, English, Japanese Civics, and Math test were returned. Most test score was on average. Not so good, but not so bad. Hm...When I saw the answer sheet, I thought I had to read the questions carefully.

Today, I introduce a game. This title is Fate/Unlimited Code. This is fighting game(2-D/3-D) . Like Melty Blood.

Establishment: All characters are magi (some of them are the spirits of dead soldiers).

My favorite character is Archer( Shiro Emiya) because of his magic skill 'Unlimited Blade Works'. Its effect is so cool!!

On next week, I have mid term exam. I should study for the test for getting high grade, but I don't yet study any subject. Expressly I worry about Kokugo and English test because I got F those test in 1st term exam. So, I think I should study English vocabs harder than the 1st term . Also, I need to study Koten and Genkoku. Koten is one of my weak subject. And this quater's Genkoku is difficult to understand. Therefore, I think I should study those subject to avoid to get F.

Now, I introduce one of my favorite singer.
the name is "Kalafina". She sings theme song of the movie "Kara no Kyoukai". That is one reason that I like this singer's song. but, omitted the reason, I like this singer's song because I really like the words of songs. Nowaday, I usually listen her new song "fairy tale" and "serenato".

Vacation was over...

The winter vacation was over. School was opened.
Now, I have much homework( such as report sheet, preparation of presentation, etc) and have to prepare for test or quiz.
I don't like these things!!!!!!!
Tomorrow, I have math test. I studied a little during the winter vacation, but it is not enough for getting high grade. So, today I think I should study math more and more.

However, I have to prepare Japanese Civics' presentation also.
.....How do I get through this problem? HAHAHA......
